Our approach to hosting a uniquely-Target House found the balance between bringing the energy and fun, while also — and even more importantly — centering her and her needs, in a world that does not.

THE EXTERIOR
Our approach to the exterior design of Target's House paid homage to the eclectic architectural styles that make New Orleans such a special and unique American city. The local character can be seen in the flat roof, pronounced colonnade, wrought-iron balustrade and decorative trim along the capitals.
THE LINE QUEUE
Guests were greeted by our welcome wall and queued up along a row of exterior windows – some containing curated scenes that featured Black-owned and Target-owned brands and some allowing a peek into the space.
THE INTERIOR
Within Target's House, the lighting and overall aesthetic created a warm, safe and celebratory environment. From the kitchen to the living room, our house offered a few distinct areas for intimate gatherings- all bound together by the DJ arch which existed as a focal point and anchored the space.
